The artist, Herb Trimpe, was an American comics artist and occasional writer, best known as the seminal 1970s artist on the Incredible Hulk and other characters for Marvel comics.
This Golant story was drawn whilst he and his family spent a year living in Cornwall in the late 1970s. They became great friends of families living in Golant, some of whom might be recognised in his characters!
